01 STREAMS

## Native transport with live operational context.

Connect the desktop app directly to UDP multicast, UDP unicast, and TCP producers. VITA Viewer maintains source state, transport lifecycle events, rolling metrics, and bounded packet samples.

- Interface, bind address, port, buffer, timeout, and reconnect controls

- Connect, disconnect, reset, filter, sort, import, and export source definitions

- Packet rate, bit rate, byte count, uptime, dropped, malformed, and sequence-error metrics

- Rolling activity charts, filtered event history, CSV packet export, and log export

- Batched packet delivery and a dedicated decode worker for responsive live monitoring

02 DECODE & ANALYSIS

## Move from packet bytes to signal behavior.

VITA Viewer detects and parses standard VITA packets as data arrives, building the layout automatically from header flags and declared size. In most cases, you can start inspecting immediately without creating a packet definition; saved custom definitions remain available for program-specific payloads.

- Automatic detection of header options, packet structure, and declared fields

- Automatic signed integer and floating-point I/Q sample formats from 8 to 64 bits

- Decoded field, hexadecimal, and raw-byte packet inspector tabs

- Context and extension metadata snapshots

- FFT windows, averaging, floor/ceiling, peak hold, waterfall palettes, constellation scaling, and density eye controls

03 PACKET EDITOR

## Build the decoder your program actually needs.

Standard VITA packets are detected and parsed automatically. When a program adds its own fields, create that custom layout visually instead of hard-coding it; the editor treats each 32-bit word as an interactive canvas and saves definitions into a reusable local library.

- Drag-and-drop field palette with custom reusable fields

- Bit range, type, size, offset, color, data type, endianness, and byte-swap properties

- Undo, redo, duplicate, save-as, reload, and unsaved-change protection

- Built-in VITA templates plus JSON import and export

04 WORKSPACE OPERATIONS

## Keep the session observable and portable.

The dashboard keeps live-source availability, packet rate, integrity issues, and source shortcuts in one operational view. Settings keep the local workspace bounded, accessible, and easy to move.

- At-a-glance live-source, packet-rate, and transport-issue status

- Workspace and preference import/export without credentials or tokens

- Configurable packet, event, and chart-history retention limits

- Disconnect, transport-error, and packet-integrity notifications

- Dark/light themes, custom accents, density, scale, units, time, and hex formatting

- Sanitized diagnostic copy/export and explicit local-data reset controls
