VITA Viewer is a focused desktop engineering workspace for understanding live VITA 49 traffic from the network connection and packet layout to the signal samples carried inside.

WHY IT EXISTS

## VITA 49 debugging often gets split across socket tools, packet scripts, hex viewers, and signal plots.

That fragmentation slows down the moment that matters: deciding whether a problem lives in transport, packet structure, metadata, or payload behavior.

VITA Viewer brings those layers together. A source configured in the Streams workspace feeds live telemetry, packet samples, decoded metadata, and IQ analysis. When a program uses a custom extension, the Packet Editor creates the definition that turns those bits into readable fields.

The result is not another passive protocol reference. It is an operational workspace designed for the way engineers actually investigate a live system.
